Milva ist eine Karte aus dem Spiel Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.

Strategie

Since Milva can't give Card Advantage anymore her main uses nowadays are two. She is used mainly to counter big buffed up units on the enemy's side (such as buffed up Dwarves, or Vran-Krieger who have been feasting on Krabbspinnen) since when a unit returns to hand it loses all of its boosted power (so for a example a 14 STR Spotter if bounced with Milva, will become again 4 STR). The other way to use Milva is to somehow counter enemy Silver Spies (such as Yaevinn, Thaler, Cantarella, Einschüchterer, Udalryk) since Control Scoia'tael usually won't have a unit with a higher Strength than the spy, Milva will give the spy in hand while returning something irrelevant, most of the times, for the opponent.

Entwicklung

  • During Closed Beta Milva's had a different ordering. She used to return a Friendly Unit first and afterwards an enemy. That led to situations where she could have been used to give card advantage, since with Roach in the deck you could play Milva first turn, get Roach in hand and return nothing for your opponent, thus maintaining card advantage. That led to the change in her ordering, so nowadays she has to bounce an anemy first and then a friendly unit.

Randnotizen

Unlike Villentretenmerth who can scorch himself, she can't return herself if you demote her and replay her (for example with Finte). Even if you have another copy of Milva (through Hansi) she won't return another copy of Milva in hand, even if they are the only units on board.
